Faye provides a much-needed striking option for Boavista F.C.
Boavista F.C. have signed striker Fary Faye from F.C. Arouca on a two-year contract, the club announced on Wednesday. The 29-year-old Faye is a Senegal international with 15 caps for his country.
Faye has scored 30 goals in 90 appearances for Arouca over the past two seasons. He is a powerful and physical striker who is good in the air and with his feet.
Faye is expected to make his Boavista debut in the club's next match, which is against Sporting CP on Sunday.
