Early Life and Career
Primož Roglič was born on October 29, 1989, in Trbovlje, Slovenia. He initially pursued a career in ski jumping, representing his country at the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup and 2018 Winter Olympics.
Transition to Cycling
In 2013, Roglič transitioned to road racing and quickly rose through the ranks. He joined the BORA - hansgrohe team in 2016 and has since established himself as one of the world's top cyclists.
Major Accomplishments
Roglič's most notable achievement is his three consecutive victories in the Grand Tour event La Vuelta ciclista a España (2019-2021). He has also won multiple stages in the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia and is a former national time trial champion.
